This One’s For You, Bubatz

Over Labor Day weekend, I took The Girl and her friend Kyle to see Doe and Uncle Psh.  Numbah One Son and Rainbow Shoes stayed behind because they had to work.  We went camping, and had a great time.  It was The Girl’s and my first time camping.  Ever.  I loved it, but The Girl’s not sure she likes the cold.  Kyle is a joy to be around and this was her second trip to Vegas with us.  Doe sure does love her some mountains, and Uncle Psh is pure magic with a camp fire.

On our last day, it was too windy to light a fire, so here’s Kyle trying to roast her marshmallow with Kevn’s Lighter.  Believe it or not, she made it work!

Back to School

This post is a month late, but things have been hectic at our house.  Here’s a picture of The Girl on her first day of 8th grade.  I can’t believe my baby is so grown up–she’s finally taller than I am.  Barely.  But she still rubs it in!  Oh, and her brother cut her hair.  Not my fault!  She claims to love it….
